Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking a Business Support Administrator to work with a Greater Manchester Local Authority’s Children’s Services on an initial temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week (Mon – Fri) on a hybrid basis.
This role is central to the smooth running of Child Protection Conferences and Children Looked After Reviews, which are attended by parents, carers, and multi-agency professionals.
Main Duties:
* Organise and prepare for Child Protection Conferences and Reviews, ensuring all relevant documents are collated and distributed in a timely manner
* Produce accurate and professional minutes from complex meetings under strict deadlines
* Manage confidential case information on internal systems, ensuring security and compliance
* Liaise with professionals, families, and partner organisations, maintaining a high level of customer service
* Assist with developing and maintaining efficient office and information systems
Essential Criteria:
* Prior administrative experience including minute taking experience, ideally within a Local Authority or similar setting
* Experience in dealing with sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality at all times
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and databases
* Understanding of Children’s Social Care and safeguarding principles
* Ability to work with a variety of audiences with discretion and professionalism
