Overview
We are looking to appoint 2 Work Experience & Industry Placement Advisers to co-ordinate work experience activity across our Strode College. The successful candidates will be student focused, with the students’ interests at the heart of what they do to ensure all learners attain valuable work experience and / or industry placements to enhance their achievement and progression and support their career aspirations.
Salary - £11,255 per annum Actual £26,101 per annum FTE
Hours - Part time, 18 hours per week
Responsibilities
* Establish and develop strong relationships with employers and maintain long-standing partnerships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Work confidently with 16–18-year-olds to help them locate suitable work placements.
* Plan, prioritise and manage workload effectively as a work experience and industry placement adviser.
* Ensure all students are placed in environments aligned to their career aims and complete all administration and health & safety checks during scheduled work experience dates.
