About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Humanities to join a well-regarded secondary school in Essex with an Ofsted ‘Good’ rating. The successful candidate will teach Humanities across KS3–KS4 (specialisms in History, Geography, or Religious Studies are welcome). This is a fantastic opportunity for a Humanities ECT to begin their career in a supportive and ambitious environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Humanities lessons at KS3–KS4.
• Inspire students to develop curiosity and critical thinking about the world around them.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support student achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and resources.
• Contribute to departmental enrichment activities such as trips or cultural projects.
• Fully engage with the ECT induction programme to build strong foundations.
