Job Title: People Systems and Data Analyst
Salary: £35,380 per annum
Location: Stafford or Telford
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Type: Maternity cover – up to 12 months (Fixed term)

Day in the life of a People Systems and Data Analyst
In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining, developing and optimising our HR systems, data and reporting capabilities. You’ll support the effective operation of our People services by ensuring data is accurate, accessible and insightful, enabling better decision‑making across the organisation.
What you will
- Manage and maintain HR systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Develop and produce reports and dashboards to support informed decision‑making
- Support system administration, configuration and continuous improvement activities
- Carry out data quality checks and implement improvements to data standards
- Respond to data and reporting requests accurately and within agreed deadlines
- Support the ongoing development of HR technology, automation and reporting tools
- Ensure all data is handled in line with GDPR and confidentiality requirements
Essential experience and skills
- Experience working with HR systems, databases or information management tools in an HR environment
- Proven experience producing reports and analysing people data to support decision‑making
- Experience maintaining high data quality standards and conducting data validation checks
- Experience supporting system administration or configuration
- Ability to manage and respond to data requests accurately and within deadlines
- Experience working as part of a team in a people‑focused environment
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and GDPR when handling sensitive data
- Level 4 (or above) qualification in Data Analytics
- Intermediate Power BI skills or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
