Bank Wing Pharmacy Technician
As part of the HCRG Care Group Team at HMP Norwich, you will work within a wing/ward environment administering medication to patients and managing medication activities under the direction of the Clinical Lead and Pharmacist Manager.

Main Responsibilities
* Administer medication and conduct medication management activities, including audits and stock checks
* Work autonomously within guidelines, SOPs and Medicine Policy
* Assist in delivering a legal, safe, high quality specialist prison pharmaceutical service, maintaining high security
* Provide medicines administration service to patients
* Offer a wing technician medicine management service on allocated wings
* Support implementation of medicine management strategy and associated services and projects across the prison
* Assist in cost-effective prescribing, medicines optimisation strategy and medication budget management
* Promote safe pharmacy practice within the prison, providing advice and training to patients and staff
Ideal Candidate
You must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council, preferably with experience in hospital, primary care or community settings. You should be confident using IT systems and demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
