Vehicle Technician required in Gravesend, Kent
1. Salary: Basic £35,000 with OTE £40,000 - £45,000 (including bonuses)
2. Hours: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 2 Saturdays (8 am – 1 pm)
3. OTE: Up to £45,000 including workshop bonuses, with steady income opportunities

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll perform routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics, ensuring each vehicle meets high standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will help uphold the dealership’s reputation for excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
5. Conduct routine servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles
6. Use diagnostic tools effectively to identify and resolve mechanical issues
7. Perform thorough vehicle inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns
8. Complete all work within timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards
9. Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used
10. Maintain a friendly, professional approach in customer interactions where applicable
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
11. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
12. Qualified to Level 2 NVQ or City & Guilds in light vehicle mechanics
13. Strong mechanical and technical skills
14. Valid UK driver’s licence
15. MOT licence would be advantageous but not essential (training available)
16. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
17. Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
