About the role
We’re looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin's Restaurants Department based in Skegness. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you will support the running of the kitchen and lead a team of up to 15. Your focus will be on ensuring guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service, resource planning, recruitment, and team development.
You will monitor and develop continuous improvement plans, manage food cost budgets through effective menu planning and standards, and uphold food hygiene and health and safety standards in compliance with legislation and company policies.
You will serve as a role model for Butlin’s values, ensuring training and performance development are in place, inspiring your team to deliver excellent guest experiences. You will have the opportunity to lead and develop skills in our main buffet restaurant serving guests with a half-board dining package.
About You
* Experience in a similar role or looking to step up to this level.
* Hardworking, reliable, and proactive in improving team performance.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, high-spirited, and fun-loving.
* Passionate about delivering high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
* Ability to manage margins, control costs, and ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Working Hours
Five days over seven, totaling 40 hours per week, with a bonus scheme.
