Teaching Assistant
Blackbrook Primary School, part of The Oak Partnership, seeks to appoint a teaching assistant. We seek to employ a member of staff who is flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the school and has patience.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Working 1:1 with pupils with a range of specific SEND and SEMH needs as required;
2. Implementing adaptations to learning identified by the class teacher and SENDCo;
3. Working closely the class teacher, Pastoral Assistant and other Teaching Assistants supporting the pupil.

5. Medical or Personal Care Support for the child
Experience Desirable:
6. Experience in education
7. Experience Supporting pupils with SEND or SEMH needs
8. Experience working with High Needs children
9. Experience with medical support for children in school
Hours of work: Full time. Term time only. 30.42 hours a week. This is a fixed term position until 31st Aug 2026 with a possible need to extend/make perm in the future.
