Overview
The E-commerce Distribution Coordinator, EMEA is responsible for supporting the management of third-party logistics (3PL), e-commerce fulfilment, international logistics, and end-to-end inventory processes across the EMEA region. This role is critical to enabling scalable, cost-effective, and accurate operations across DTC, wholesale, and omnichannel fulfilment models.
Reporting to the EMEA Operations Manager, the role partners closely with internal teams and external logistics providers to support operational excellence, maintain inventory accuracy, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate brings experience within fashion retail, apparel, or consumer goods, with a solid understanding of inventory management, international logistics, and e-commerce fulfilment, as well as hands-on exposure to 3PL operations.
Key Responsibilities
3PL & Fulfilment Operations
* Support day-to-day operations and performance of EMEA 3PL partners across inbound, outbound, returns, SLAs, KPIs, cost, and customer experience.
* Oversee DTC fulfilment execution, including order management, shipping logic, returns, reporting, and cross-functional CX handovers.
* Monitor, analyse, and report operational metrics (e.g., OTIF, fill rate, order cycle time, cost per order), driving corrective actions with 3PLs and internal teams.
* Troubleshoot and resolve fulfilment issues such as delays, inventory discrepancies, chargebacks, and service failures.
* Support strategic initiatives including RFPs, contract negotiations, partner onboarding/transitions, peak planning, forecasting, launches, promotions, and new channel rollouts.
International Logistics, Customs & Compliance
* Support Europe and UK inbound logistics from international and intercompany origins into EMEA 3PLs, coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers to optimise transit times and costs.
* Manage customs clearance, duties, intercompany flows, and landed cost visibility, ensuring compliance with UK/EU regulations, Incoterms, VAT, and trade documentation.
* Identify, monitor, and mitigate operational, financial, and regulatory risks across Europe and UK cross-border and intercompany logistics flows.
Inventory Management
* Ensure inventory accuracy across EMEA warehouses, systems, and sales channels through cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliations, and shrink investigations.
* Partner with Planning, Merchandising, and Finance on forecasting, allocation, and replenishment to align inventory with demand.
* Drive inventory optimization initiatives to improve flow, reduce ageing stock, and mitigate excess inventory.
Systems, Process & Reporting
* Act as a key operational user for OMS, WMS, ERP, and inventory management systems.
* Support system enhancements, UAT testing, integrations, and process documentation.
* Develop and maintain SOPs, dashboards, and reporting to increase operational visibility and control.
* Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance the customer experience.
Collaboration
* Serve as an operational partner to the EMEA Operations Manager, providing data-led insights and recommendations.
* Collaborate closely with Planning, Merchandising, Finance, CX, E-commerce, and Wholesale teams.
* Lead with a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset in a fast-paced fashion retail environment.
Qualifications & Experience
* 7–10 years’ progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, and operations within fashion retail, apparel, or consumer goods, with strong exposure to end-to-end operational execution.
* Proven background managing 3PL partners and omnichannel fulfilment operations, including inbound, outbound, returns, and service-level performance.
* Strong experience in inventory management and supply chain controls, including forecasting support, reconciliations, inventory accuracy, and shrink mitigation.
* Demonstrated experience supporting DTC e-commerce operations at scale, partnering cross-functionally to enable growth, launches, and peak trading periods.
* Solid knowledge of international supply chain logistics, including freight, customs, duties, and UK/EU regulatory requirements.
* Hands-on experience with OMS, WMS, and ERP platforms (e.g., Full Circle, NetSuite, SAP, Manhattan, or similar), with strong data and reporting capability.
* Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; experience with BI, reporting, or analytics tools is a plus.
