* Maintain and improve processes, methods, and quality frameworks
* Monitor workload, skills gaps, and training needs
* Lead upskilling, coaching, and training initiatives
Team Growth, Recruitment & Retention
* Work with leadership to forecast demand and plan workforce needs
* Support recruitment and selection of stress engineers
* Drive retention through mentoring and development
Sales, Bidding & Business Development
* Support sales and business development activities
* Contribute to bids, proposals, and client presentations
* Represent stress capability in strategic planning and major pursuits
Internal & External Leadership
* Act as a visible technical leader and ambassador
* Build relationships with stakeholders, partners, and industry bodies
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who can:
* Build and lead high-performing teams
* Deliver and review high-quality stress and structural integrity assessments
* Mentor junior engineers and act as a senior technical authority
* Work directly with clients on complex challenges
* Demonstrate advanced FEA capability (strength, fatigue, defects, lifetime)
* Apply codes such as ASME III/VIII, API-579, BS7910, BS7608, R4/R5/R6
* (Desirable) Experience in CFD, dynamics, fatigue, and degradation
* Have experience in nuclear or another highly regulated sector
