About the role:
We are now recruiting for a Facilities Project Manager – Logistics & Commercial Sites, reporting into the Property & Facilities Director. This role will lead the delivery of facilities projects across our logistics and commercial estate. Overseeing capital works including refurbishments, infrastructure upgrades, compliance projects, and operational improvements predominately across our distribution centres, and commercial office spaces.
Role Responsibilities:
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of capital projects across logistics sites, and commercial office properties.
Oversee feasibility, scoping, design, procurement, internal approvals, implementation, and project close‑out.
Manage and work in partnership with property consultants and contractors to deliver projects
Manage site moves, closures, and dilapidation works.
Act as client lead for major fit‑outs, including our new 220,000 sq ft West Midlands logistics centre.
Deliver logistics projects supporting warehouse flow, storage, racking, MHE, and safety improvements.
Deliver office refurbishments, workplace improvements, and commercial fit‑outs.
Manage contractors, tendering, contract awards, performance, and compliance with H&S standards.
Control project budgets, track spend, forecast costs, and drive value‑for‑money solutions.
Partner with our ESH team and manage and audit all projects compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Experience and Key Attributes:
Proven experience delivering capital or FM projects across logistics, industrial, commercial, or multi‑site environments.
Demonstrated experience managing construction projects in accordance with CDM Regulations, ensuring compliance, safety planning, and effective coordination of duty holders throughout the project lifecycle
Skilled in contractor management and leading tender/procurement processes.
Solid financial management ability, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to build strong cross‑functional relationships and communication / stakeholder management.
Experience managing construction projects with a strong safety culture, values and standards.
Project management or construction qualifications (ie APM, PRINCE2, PMP, IWFM, CIOB Chartered Surveyor) are desirable.
NEBOSH or IOSH and familiarity with AutoCAD, and understanding of construction project management systems is desirable.
