Job Description – Multi Skilled Security Officer
We have an exciting new career opportunity for security officers providing support for a blue–chip client, in relation to all security‑related matters including people safety issues and site processes.
Schedule
Shifts: 12‑hour shifts – Days (06:15 – 18:15) and Nights (18:15 – 06:15).
7‑day shifts, 3 days off – 7 night shifts, 4 off; this will be a rolling rota. Every 3rd weekend off. Relief work is also available, with hours varying from week to week.
A Full UK Driving Licence is required to be considered for this position.

What To Expect – Primary Purpose of the Role
 * Carry out site duties in line with company policies and procedures
 * Conduct internal and external site patrols, including perimeter and fire door checks
 * Prevent any unauthorised access to or within perimeters and buildings
 * Liaise with the technical team daily to report any alarms, CCTV or gates issues on sites
 * Liaise with departmental heads of staff in the event of issues to property and/or assets
 * Respond to all incidents or emergencies onsite
 * Manage site gatehouse duties
 * Manage site keys and incident reports
 * Ensure the safety of people on site by reporting any Health and Safety breaches found
Operational Performance
 * Ensure that access/egress duties are actioned in line with Company policies
 * Always adhere to company training and processes in the pursuit of your duties
 * Provide excellent customer service skills, always remaining courteous and professional
 * Undertake refresher and developmental training as required by your duties
Data Sensitivity
 * Data handled as part of this role may be sensitive in nature and must always be dealt with in line with company policy and GDPR regulations
Relevant Skills & Experience
 * Must be computer‑literate in Microsoft Office and bespoke systems (training for company systems will be provided)
 * Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills in both written and verbal form
 * Must be customer‑service orientated, always demonstrating professionalism and compassion
 * Must be able to work under pressure
 * Must possess a full valid UK driving licence (required to drive company cars)
 * Must be a team player but also able to work on own initiative
General
 * Show a level of flexibility and be able to adapt to new requests outside of the core role on request
 * Ensure all customer requests are responded to in a timely manner
