Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £54,000 - £55,000
Location: Boston
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery.
* Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
* Support production by ensuring machinery operates at optimal performance.
* Document maintenance activity in line with compliance and audit requirements.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
* Time-served apprenticeship and/or recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, City & Guilds, etc.).
* Proven experience in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
* Skilled in both mechanical and electrical maintenance and fault finding.
* 18th Edition Electrical Certification (essential).
* IOSH Managing Safely (desirable).
* PLC fault–finding experience (advantage).
