As a Multi Skilled Operative, you will work alongside Croydon Council within our social housing sector, providing a stable and profitable contract. You will deliver excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the community.
Based in our Croydon branch, your role involves supporting residents with reactive repairs across our property portfolio, following a planned route. You will be part of a local team undertaking high-standard multi-trade repairs and refurbishment activities, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to safety, quality, and cost standards. You must have a certified core trade and be capable of delivering additional trade activities to complete repair and refurbishment works on time and to a high standard, following standard operating procedures. Your responsibilities include constructing, fault finding, and performing maintenance repairs with a focus on first-time completion within budget and time constraints.
* Carrying out damp & mould works
* Patch & whole wall plastering
* Painting & decorating
All roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work in the UK. Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To operate a Mears vehicle, you must be over 21, have held your license for more than 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points on your license.
All roles are subject to relevant DBS/security checks before employment begins.
Role Criteria:
* Experience in plastering and painting & decorating
* Experience in mould treatment
* UK full driving license
