The Vacancy
ADAS, part of the RSK Group, is looking to appoint a Senior or Principal Planning Consultant on a full-time, permanent basis. This role can be on a hybrid basis in their Leeds office.
ADAS provides ecology, arboriculture, archaeology, planning, and landscape services to a growing client base across multiple sectors.
Experience required:
* A full driving licence and flexibility regarding work type, timing, and location.
* Formal qualification in Town and Country Planning (Masters/Postgraduate/First Degree).
* Full membership or eligibility for full Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
* Relevant experience/skills, preferably in the private sector.
* Excellent knowledge of Town & Country Planning regulations and processes in planning policy and development management.
Responsibilities:
* Provide planning consultancy services to public, private, and third-sector clients.
* Manage planning projects, including leading on applications, site promotions, appeals, and managing project finances.
* Review and comment on technical reports.
* Prepare planning applications and related documents, conduct site visits.
* Coordinate with technical consultants, statutory consultees, and Planning Officers.
* Participate in public speaking engagements, such as planning committees and consultation events.
