North Yorkshire Council is proud to invest in prevention-focused services that support people to live independently, stay connected, and improve their wellbeing. As part of this commitment, we are expanding our Living Well team and are looking for a passionate, empathetic individual to join us as a Living Well Coordinator. This role is cover the Hambleton and Richmondshire areas, a discussion can be had about the work base, but travelling around the district will be required. About the Role Living Well Coordinators offer time limited support and work directly with individuals and their carers to: Reduce loneliness and isolation Prevent issues from escalating into crises Support people to access their local community Promote small but meaningful changes that improve health, wellbeing, and independence Provide advice and support relating to finances, bereavement, employment and housing You’ll help people build confidence, connect with local groups and services, and access high-quality advice and information. You’ll also work closely with internal teams such as Public Health and Stronger Communities, and external partners including NHS colleagues, Voluntary and Community Sector organisations, and District Councils. The role will be based in the Richmond and Hambleton area, but there would be a requirement to assist at times with supporting our neighbouring teams Countywide.
