Role Overview
* We are looking for a motivated and technically capable Software Solutions Consultant to support client engagements, solution planning, and software project delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and internal technical teams to understand requirements, recommend practical solutions, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently.
* This role is ideal for a candidate with software development knowledge who is looking to progress into a more client-facing and delivery-focused position.
Key Responsibilities
* Communicate with clients to understand business needs and project requirements.
* Participate in discovery meetings, requirement gathering sessions, and solution discussions.
* Convert business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and coordinate with developers, QA testers, designers, and stakeholders during project execution.
* Track project progress, timelines, milestones, risks, and action items.
* Support software delivery activities including testing, UAT, releases, and go-live readiness.
* Assist in reviewing technical solutions involving databases, APIs, integrations, and prepare project documentation, status reports, and meeting notes.
* Support issue resolution and change request management.
* Help identify process improvements and additional solution opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience
* Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
* 2.5–4 years of experience in software development, project delivery, technical support, or consulting roles.
* Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
* Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
* Understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-based systems.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Experience with Jira, Trello, or similar tools is beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in client-facing environments.
* Agile / Scrum knowledge.
* Exposure to SaaS or enterprise software projects.
