Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester Opportunity at Leading Hereford Dealership
Our client, a well-established franchise-approved dealership in Hereford, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their busy Service Department. Competitive salary from £24,000 to £38,000 per annum, with potential for over £44,000+ OTE including bonuses
Uncapped monthly bonus scheme of up to £6,000, rewarding efficiency and productivity

Ongoing technical training, including opportunities to attain Level 3 qualification to further enhance skills and earnings

Working hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday morning (8:30am-12:30pm)Duties:
Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles according to manufacturer standards and dealership procedures
Accurately diagnose faults, report vehicle conditions, safety, reliability, and performance issues to the Service Manager
Perform MOT testing in line with Ministry standards
Adhere strictly to quality, health & safety, and environmental procedures
Maintain high standards of workmanship consistently in a busy environment
Assist in achieving departmental targets and objectives
Support team members and foster a collaborative working environmentRequirements for the MOT Technician position:
Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Valid MOT testing licence
UK driving licence
Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
Strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer service
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Motivated, with a proactive approach and excellent team skills
