Job Description Job title: Management Liability Underwriter Salary: £65,000 per annum Location: London 3 days a week Tues, Wed and Thurs PURPOSE OF ROLE We are currently working with a leading client of ours who due to growth are recruiting for a Management Liability Underwriter to join their team in London. Our client is open to individuals from a Broking background who are looking to transition into Underwriting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Bring fresh ideas and innovation to shape our client’s appetite and manage their portfolio effectively Build and nurture strong relationships with partner brokers and clients Lead underwriting and sales initiatives to expand the portfolio Provide coaching and training to junior team members Work on SME to Mid-Market accounts SKILLS Strong analytical and decision-making skills Clear and confident communication Ability to build and maintain broker and client relationships Understanding of financial data and risk assessment Organised and efficient in managing multiple tasks Confident decision-maker with sound judgment and accountability EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Management Liability (ML) or Directors & Officers (D&O) insurance Strong understanding of insurance regulations and market trends Proven sales ability with a strong drive to grow the portfolio If you have the relevant experience or know someone that does please contact me now on 07458 162 853 or email us at admin@lawesgroup.co.uk
