A fantastic opportunity has arisen to become part of the unique, innovative, warm and welcoming Knowsley MBC Hospital and Home Tuition Service. We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher who would like to broaden their experience by working with vulnerable young people experiencing physical and/or mental illness in Knowsley.

You will work under the direction of the Hospital and Home Tuition Service Manager to be an integral part of an outstanding education team. You will show evidence of a career providing high quality education for students with a wide range of needs, both academically and socially, and including SEND, to support the continuing development of the Knowsley HHT Service.

You will work across several areas; At our learning base at the George Howard Centre in Whiston, in student homes throughout Knowsley, and at the Children's Ward at Whiston Hospital. Working

alongside the support staff within the service, delivering support to children and their families. You will also work in partnership with schools and multidisciplinary teams and be willing to work flexibly in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Our students have the opportunity to make progress through personalised learning programmes delivered in small groups or in one-to-one tuition. Staff and students build positive nurturing relationships, which enable students to grow in confidence, self-acceptance and compassion for themselves and others.

We promote applications from all sections of the community, regardless of background, belief, or identity, recognising the value that diversity brings to our organisation.
