Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced midwife to lead one of our community teams as a Band 7 Rotational Midwife - Team Leader. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, and be committed to women-centred care. Previous unsuccessful applicants need not reapply within 6 months.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead and manage midwifery teams in community settings.
* Support women and families through pregnancy, birth, and postnatal periods.
* Ensure high standards of care and compliance with professional and trust standards.
* Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
* Registered Midwife (RM) with valid UK registration.
* Experience at Band 6 in all aspects of midwifery care.
* Experience in ward management, conflict resolution, data collection, and analysis.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle; willingness to undertake on-call duties.
