Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will be personable, well-organised, and possess a passion for the hospitality industry. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All roles are paid positions, offering valuable experience within the hospitality sector.
Duties
* Serve drinks and food to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
* Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using POS systems
* Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping surfaces and washing glasses
* Restock bar supplies and ensure stock levels are adequate throughout shifts
* Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
* Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere
* Assist with organising events or special promotions as required
* Adhere to responsible service of alcohol policies and legal requirements
Experience
* Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is desirable but not mandatory
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
* Knowledge of restaurant or bar operations is beneficial but training will be provided for those new to the industry
