The National Farmers Union (NFU) is the biggest farming organisation in the UK. We're proud to make a difference for all our members, by shaping attitudes towards British farming and leading the charge on a range of major issues, from climate change and food standards to rural crime and broadband rollout.
Purpose of the role & how you will contribute:
As Communications and Engagement Officer, youll play a vital role in shaping public perception of British food and farming. Youll create compelling digital content, lead on innovative campaigns, and coordinate impactful events that support the NFUs policy and lobbying work. By collaborating across teams and engaging diverse audiences, youll help amplify the NFUs voice and drive meaningful change for the agricultural sector.
What youll bring:
Youll bring a strong foundation in PR or communications, with hands-on experience creating engaging digital content, including video and graphics, for social media. You will be degree qualified or have an equivalent level of experience. Your project management skills and event experience will help you deliver high-impact campaigns on time and on budget. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, youll confidently engage diverse audiences and collaborate across teams. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure will ensure campaigns are both compelling and effective.
