Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant operations.
2. Maintain CQC compliance and deliver ongoing improvement and environmental action plans.
3. Provide clinical oversight to ensure residents receive the highest standards of nursing and personal care.
4. Oversee and ensure safe administration, storage, and recording of medication, in line with NMC and CQC standards.
5. Build and develop a strong, stable staff team, reducing agency use and improving retention.
6. Promote high-quality, person-centred care for all residents.
7. Support and guide digital implementation (electronic care planning and medicine management).
8. Drive a positive and professional culture within the home.
Requirements
Essential:
9. Registered Home Manager with proven success in achieving and maintaining CQC compliance.
10. NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent).
11. Demonstrated ability to manage teams, deliver improvements, and sustain compliance.
12. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
13. Longevity and stability in previous management roles.
Desirable:
14. Nurse-qualified with an active NMC Pin.
15. Experience with digital care systems (care plans and eMAR).
16. Strong track record of improving and maintaining “Good” ratings.
