Whether you are just starting your career or in need of a challenge, we recognise, develop, and empower talent Work Location: Dorset, United Kingdom What you will be doing: The Digital Designer will be an integral part of the internal Curlsmith Brand Design team to design and prepare digital assets for consumer-facing marketing campaigns under the mentorship of the Head of Creative. This includes product and promotional campaigns, website, social and email support, digital advertising, digital retail assets, digital storytelling, and photography/video support. This position will work closely with the eCommerce team, and key partners. They will also assist in developing the creative look and feel of our marketing efforts through design that supports our brand mission. Design and prepare graphic assets for digital motion and occasional print projects with a focus on website, social media, and digital display advertising. Partner with marketing & retail partners to deliver engaging, on-strategy, on-brand, marketing assets (digital/photo/video) Work with internal teams (eCommerce, retail, social media) to understand project strategy, conceptualise and implement campaign assets to deliver outstanding assets and to specified timelines. Working alongside the Head of Creative to further develop and adhere to the brand aesthetic in-line with our premium positioning and UGC driven brand identity. Create and upgrade DTC website visuals and build engaging and on-brand marketing assets to support product launches and brand campaigns, ensuring consistency across touchpoints. Work with eCommerce and external web agency to wireframe and suggest improvements to the DTC user experience, seeking customer insights and UX best practice to inform decision making. Assist with email and digital design best practices. Recommend brand asset updates and usage guidelines. Assist in post-production and editing of photos and videos as required. Minimum Qualifications: BA in Graphic Design or similar relevant field 5 years' experience designing digital media for consumer brands including eCommerce, online advertising, interactive experiences, email campaigns and video Experience designing storyboards, wireframes, web banners, and digital campaigns for consumer brands. Experience in premium beauty or other prestige brands, and passion for beauty brands Expert knowledge of most current version of Adobe Creative Suite, and an understanding of CSS, and HTML Understand common design software (Sketch, Figma or Adobe XD) and usage requirements; UX/UI, consumer centric thinking. Strong portfolio of design work, showing solutions to marketing problems through effective design. Proven understanding of applying brand standards and digital guidelines to creative outputs. Detailed understanding of current and emerging social media platforms and current best practices therein. Experience working across print, web, and interactive media and proven portfolio of solutions. Animation and video editing (Adobe After Effects or Premier Pro).
