Commercial Process Owner – AI Transformation

A large-scale, PE-backed services organisation is embarking on a major AI-enabled transformation programme focused on redesigning and optimising commercial processes across a multi-entity group environment.
As part of this programme, we are hiring a Commercial Process Owner to take ownership of end-to-end commercial workflows spanning lead management, pipeline progression, pricing, contract lifecycle and renewals.
This role sits at the intersection of commercial operations, transformation and technology. You will work closely with senior commercial stakeholders, RevOps, Business Systems and transformation teams to redesign processes, improve operational efficiency and help shape a more AI-enabled commercial operating model.
The environment is fast-paced, commercially driven and heavily focused on operational improvement rather than theoretical transformation frameworks.
Key areas of responsibility include:
* owning and redesigning commercial processes end-to-end
* improving pipeline flow, deal velocity and operational efficiency
* simplifying complex workflows across multiple business units
* identifying opportunities for AI-enabled automation and process improvement
* partnering with RevOps and CRM teams around process optimisation
* shaping future-state operating models and process governance
* driving behavioural adoption and operational change
Particularly interested in candidates with experience across:
* commercial transformation
* RevOps / sales operations process optimisation
* CRM and workflow-led operational environments
* subscription or contract-led B2B businesses
* multi-entity or PE-backed organisations
* operational process ownership/change programmes
Strong commercial process understanding is essential. Salesforce exposure is beneficial, although deep technical platform expertise is not required.
The successful person will be comfortable operating within evolving transformation environments, influencing senior stakeholders and balancing strategic process thinking with practical operational delivery.
Hybrid role with 3 days per week onsite in Greater Manchester.
