We’re working with a leading design studio in Bristol seeking an experienced Architect to take a leading role within their Workplace and Commercial sector.
This is a strong opportunity for someone ready to step up into project leadership, taking ownership of design delivery from Stage 2 through to completion on large-scale, campus-based workplace schemes.
The studio is known for forward-thinking, sustainable design and is looking for someone who can confidently lead projects, engage with clients and statutory bodies, and help shape the future direction of their commercial portfolio.
Role Overview
Lead or Senior Architect role with responsibility for design direction, technical delivery, and project coordination across complex workplace and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design development from Stage 2 through to completion.
- Deliver compliant, coordinated, and sustainable design solutions.
- Navigate UK Building Regulations, statutory processes, and technical standards.
- Lead submissions including Planning and Building Regulations.
- Engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities.
- Support risk management and design compliance processes.
- Contribute to sector growth and project opportunities.
Requirements
- Strong UK experience in workplace / commercial architecture.
- Confident delivering complex projects through all design stages.
- Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and statutory processes.
- Comfortable leading meetings and coordinating project teams.
- Ambition to step into Senior or Associate-level responsibility.
