An established engineering business is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead projects within a precision manufacturing environment supplying the aerospace, oil & gas, nuclear, and defence sectors.
This role will suit someone who enjoys managing complex projects, building strong relationships, and ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities as Project Manager will be to: -
* Lead and support production teams to achieve delivery and quality targets.
* Plan and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
* Maintain strong communication with internal teams and customers.
* Identify risks, drive improvements, and ensure compliance with company procedures.
* Monitor performance and continuously look for ways to improve output and profitability.
The successful candidate will: -
* Have proven experience in project management within a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
* Be a strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
* Be confident managing deadlines, budgets, and customer expectations.
* Have an engineering background or apprenticeship preferred; ILM Level 3 (or equivalent) desirable.
* Hold a full UK driving licence and ability to meet security vetting requirements.
