About the Role: In this role, you will collaborate closely withthe AV Manager to deliver outstanding AV support across our clients' sites. Yourprimary responsibility will be to ensure seamless operation of AV systems inlecture theatres and meeting rooms on our central site. Additionally, you'llplay a crucial role in supporting evening events organised by our clients.events team, exhibitions, and Public Engagement teams. Key Responsibilities: AV System Preparation and Testing: Prepare and rigorously test AVsystems. Ensure optimal functionality ofdata projectors, microphones, audio systems, videoconferencing equipment, andLighting. First Point of Contact for IT and AVIssues: Be the go-to person for staff andstakeholders at the clients' central site regarding IT and AV-related queriesor problems. Provide technical support todiagnose and resolve issues promptly. Evening Event Support: Assist during the evening, even, ensuring flawless AV execution. Handle any technical challengesthat arise during these events. Collaboration with University ITServices: Work closely with our clients' IT Support team and contracted providers to swiftly resolve any centrally supportedservice issues (e.g., network and wireless provision). About You: Education and Experience: Familiarity with AV systems andhardware components, preferably with an IT-related background. Flexibility and Technical Skills: Proficiency in handling a widerange of AV equipment, including data projectors, microphones, andvideo conferencing systems. Up-to-date knowledge of relevantIT systems, software installation, and troubleshooting. Versatility and OrganisationalSkills: Practical and flexible, capableof managing diverse tasks such as setting up educational areas and handling AVequipment. Communication and Professionalism: Proficient in record-keeping,report writing, and stakeholder updates.
