Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Safeguarding Children Team in the role of Safeguarding Children Team Administrator.
Main Responsibilities
You will support the Safeguarding Children team, including doctors, nurses, midwives, and specialist practitioners. Your main duties will include:
• Managing diaries and organizing meetings
• Collecting and presenting data
• Taking meeting minutes
• Providing general admin support
• Covering for colleagues during leave or sickness

Minimum Qualification Level
Less < 5 GCSE's -Grade 4-9 or C & above - inc Eng & Math
Essential Skills
• Experience of taking minutes and organising meetings and ability to produce accurate and timely minutes
• Experience of providing an effective administrative support function to a team of staff including diary management
• Experience and ability to devise and maintain office systems including data base management and electronic filing
• Basic knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children legislation and procedures
• Experience of dealing with people at all levels in a variety of situations, some of which could be distressing, sensitive or emotional
Desirable Skills
• Experience of administration work within the NHS at a band 3 level
• Previous experience of organising and being involved with training events
• Basic understanding of medical terminology
