In a collective impact project with the High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire, Police and Crime Commissioner and some fantastic local partners and businesses, RockCorps are producing a concert at Rock City in April—the only way to get a ticket is to earn it by giving 4 hours of time at one of 20 Nottingham RockCorps volunteer projects.

RockCorps is currently recruiting its operational team for this program. Working in close collaboration with the management team, the Volunteer Services Department Manager is responsible for overseeing all communications with volunteers registered for the Nottingham RockCorps program, from their initial registration to their participation in the concert.


Who are we?

RockCorps is a pro-social marketing and entertainment company. We use music and culture to inspire action, providing the tools and opportunities for people to engage in their community through volunteering. One person, one concert, one city at a time: we mobilize a generation to change the world. Our platform is based on the "Give, Get Given" concept. We organize concerts where the only way to get a ticket is to participate in a 4-hour local volunteering project.

To date, more than 200,000 volunteers have attended over 50 RockCorps concerts around the world. These volunteers have completed more than 800,000 hours of work benefiting over 2,700 associations and charities worldwide. Artists who have participated include Rihanna, Lady Gaga, David Guetta, Pharrell, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Maroon 5, A$AP Rocky, Ellie Goulding, Nas, Macklemore, Black Eyed Peas...


Main Responsibilities:

* Ensure the implementation and monitoring of communications with all interested volunteers, from their registration to their participation in the concert, including securing their commitment to community projects by:
* Providing information, primarily by phone and email, to potential volunteers about the various projects and the concert
* Verifying the information provided by volunteers during their registration
* Ensuring proper filling of volunteering projects: follow up with volunteers who have not completed the registration process, suggest alternative projects in case of no-show
* Suggesting community projects suited best to future volunteers
* Maintaining and making good use of the CRM (HubSpot)
* Communicating clear and precise information to volunteers, via email, phone, SMS, social media
* Answering questions and problem solving whilst maintaining a positive and cheery persona – ensuring the volunteers have the best experience possible
* Embodying and promoting RockCorps values
* Set up the technical means necessary to ensure the best monitoring of relations with volunteers
* Guarantee the best possible volunteer experience, particularly through the definition, implementation and monitoring of communication processes, whether automated or personalized
* Ensure regular reporting and be proactive in proposing improvements to convert young people "interested" into "actual volunteers"
* The postholder must comply with GDPR and RockCorps data‑protection policies when handling volunteer information


Required Profile:

* Initial experience in customer relations / call center
* Ideally, initial experience in team management
* You are detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
* You have excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine team spirit
* Great ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to a constantly changing environment
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and stress resistance
* You are comfortable using CRM tools (ideally HubSpot)
* You ideally have a passion for music
* You are either based in Nottingham, or comfortable with the idea of working 100% remotely


Contract Type:

This is a fixed-term PAYE employment contract.

Contract period: 2 March 2026 to 8 April 2026

Daily rate: £150 per day

Working schedule: Approximately 5 days per week

Line manager: Director of Operations

Location: Nottingham or remote

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Proof will be required prior to employment.

This role may involve working with young people. Appointment may be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding training.

The postholder is responsible for complying with all organisational Health & Safety policies and ensuring safe working practices at all volunteer sites.

All employees are required to comply with RockCorps Health & Safety, safeguarding, and data‑protection policies.
