Job Description
Blair West are supporting a long established North East training provider in their search for a Head of Learning Development due to continual growth in the business.
As part of a dynamic forward thinking business you will oversee the planning and execution of L&D projects ensuring strict compliance and deputising for the L&D director. This role would suit and experienced L&D Manager who is operationally strong and ideally with an understanding of the apprenticeship scheme.
The opportunity:
1. Support the Director in shaping the L&D strategy.
2. Deputise for the Director, this could include some UK travel.
3. Deliver a culture excellent, accountability and learner centred practice.
4. Lead a team who deliver aftercare once the course is completed.
5. Monitor and ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory bodies and communicate changes.
6. Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
7. Support teams for Ofsted inspections.
8. Deliver compliance reporting to directors.
9. Assist with safeguarding responsibilities.
10. Champion continuous improvement for compliance and risk.
11. Oversea the planning and execution of L&D projects.
