Spencer Clarke Group is working with a welcoming secondary school in Colne to appoint a Music Teacher for a maternity cover starting in January 2026 and continuing until February 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who can inspire creativity and foster a love of music among students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured Music lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Encourage students to explore music through performance, composition, and listening.
* Contribute to extra-curricular activities such as concerts, ensembles, and school productions.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Music at secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to motivate students of all abilities.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
