Teaching Assistant – Full Time Redcar (TS10 Area) – September 2026 Start £462 per week Vision for Education is looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply team and work within a welcoming primary school in the Redcar TS10 area. This is a full-time Teaching Assistant role, working Monday to Friday during school hours. The successful candidate will provide general classroom support within a Year 5/6 class, working closely with the class teacher to support pupils' learning, engagement, and progress throughout the school day. The role will commence in September 2026 and is expected to be ongoing, with the potential to become a longer-term placement depending on the needs of the school. Salary is dependent on experience, training, and qualifications. The minimum requirement for this position is a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent). Previous experience working within Key Stage 2 would be advantageous. The Role Working as part of a dedicated and supportive school team, the successful Teaching Assistant will provide general classroom support within a busy and engaging Year 5/6 setting. Requirements To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will: Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Have experience working within a primary school environment Ideally have experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 2 Be confident working with individuals and small groups Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills Have a positive, flexible, and proactive approach Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed school team Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children and young people.
