This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality internal services, systems, and support across the organisation. Reporting to the Tumu Whakarae, the Office Manager leads a small team of four that supports office and marae coordination, administration, records and document management, internal and external communications, financial processing, events, and health and safety.
In this role, you will oversee the effective running of our workspace, systems, and delivery routines, ensuring that our kaimahi are supported, our members are well-connected, and our processes reflect the values of manaakitanga, kaitiakitanga, whanaungatanga, and rangatiratanga. You'll also play a key role in supporting HR processes, membership and benefit systems, and the day-to-day cultural integrity of our environment.
Our ideal candidate will have:

* Working knowledge of H&S obligations in office settings including emergency preparedness, H&S documentation, inductions, and liaison with suppliers or contractors for facilities upkeep
* Familiarity with basic financial administration
* Strong interpersonal skills and a supportive, service-oriented approach
* Demonstrated ability to work independently, handle sensitive information discreetly, and juggle multiple demands
* Commitment to upholding the mana and aspirations of Ngai Te Ruahikihiki ki Taumutu

We work closely with our partners to create shared value, and operate with the core values of manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, kaitiakitanga, tikanga, and rangatiratanga, fostering teamwork, open communication, flexibility, accountability, integrity, and professionalism. Guided by the principles of Ngāi Te Ruahikihiki, Te Pā o Moki, and Te Taumutu Rūnanga, Taumutu Rūnanga Limited is committed to transparency, responsiveness, and building a stronger economic, social, cultural, and environmental foundation for our members and our community.
