Hargreaves Industrial Services is a leading provider of contract operation and maintenance services. We have recently been awarded a contract to provide operational support services to Enfinium, a UK-based energy from waste (EfW) company, specialising in converting non-recyclable waste into renewable energy. Enfinium operates several state-of-the-art facilities in the UK, and we are proud to support them by providing operational services at their newest site at Skelton Grange, Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Hargreaves are seeking the appointment of an Weighbridge Operator at the newly constructed Skelton Grange site in Leeds.

The role briefly encompasses the following duties: -
Operate Weighbridge Equipment:
* Weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles using the weighbridge equipment.
* Ensure accurate recording of vehicle weights before and after loading/unloading.
* Control & direction of vehicles accessing & leaving site
* Liaising with the site team to ensure efficient traffic flow
Data Management:
* Maintain detailed logs of all weighing transactions.
* Input data into the weighbridge system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
* Issue weighbridge tickets and verify documentation.
Compliance and Regulation:
* Ensure adherence to legal weight limits and transportation regulations.
* Provide guidance to drivers on weight restrictions and compliance.
Customer Interaction:
* Meet and greet drivers, contractors, and visitors to the site.
* Address and resolve weighbridge-related queries from customers and internal staff.
Equipment Maintenance:
* Report any equipment malfunctions to the Site Manager
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience/ attributes:-
* Proficiency in operating weighbridge equipment and related software.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of environmental legislation and weight regulations
