What You’ll Do as a Retail Sales Consultant · Act as the responsible person when required, including opening, closing and cash handling · Deliver excellent customer service using ethical, needs‑based sales methods · Build strong customer relationships and guide people through the buying journey · Work to sales targets, KPIs and conversion goals · Manage telesales calls alongside in‑store footfall · Resolve customer queries quickly and professionally · Keep the store clean, tidy, well‑merchandised and presentable · Update POS, pricing and promotional materials · Support the wider team with day‑to‑day store operations · Make a real impact within a supportive, high‑performing culture · Grow, learn and develop with ongoing training and coaching What You’ll Bring to the role of Retail Sales Consultant · Proven experience in sales and achieving targets · Experience in beds, mattresses or furniture (desirable, not essential) · Confidence working to KPIs such as conversion, ATV and UPT · Strong communication and rapport‑building skills · Passion, enthusiasm and a positive attitude · Resilience, emotional intelligence and active listening · A customer‑focused, empathetic approach · Ideally a UK driving licence and access to your own car (mileage paid at 45p per mile for travel to other stores, if required) This Role May Suit People With Titles Such As: Sales Consultant | Retail Sales Advisor | Furniture Sales Consultant | Showroom Advisor | Customer Sales Executive | Store Sales Assistant Important Information This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
