Role Overview
Atlas Copco Compressors is looking for a collaborative and organised Field Service Supervisor to support our operations based out of Wellingborough. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and delivering excellent service.
As part of the local operational leadership team, you will play an important role in supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. You’ll help guide field teams, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to continuous improvement across the region.
Responsibilities
* Support the Service Manager with the day-to-day coordination of field service activities to ensure smooth and effective delivery
* Help lead, coach, and support field service technicians and apprentices, encouraging development and teamwork
* Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, responding to queries and ensuring a high standard of service
* Contribute to achieving regional operational goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Work closely with the planning team to support scheduling and resource coordination
* Assist with safety audits and ensure accurate and timely documentation
* Provide support for workshop-related activities when required
* Promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
* Monitor regional connectivity performance and collaborate with the diagnostic team to resolve issues
Qualifications
* Previous leadership or mentoring experience
* Experience working with apprentices or junior engineers
* A supportive, hands‑on leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop others
* Strong communication skills and confidence working across teams
* Experience in a field service or engineering environment
* Good problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
* A strong commitment to health, safety, and compliance
* The ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment
* A customer‑focused mindset and drive for high‑quality service
* A willingness to learn, adapt, and support continuous improvement
