Purpose:
Reporting to the Production Manager you will optimise business processes to improve efficiency across all sites within the Autac Group of Companies.
Key duties will include but not limited to:
• Member of the leadership team.
• Ensure the companies thematic goal of ‘achieving the sales target’ is met.
• Oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely, while maintain product quality and optimising workflow.
• Manage employees, equipment and process to achieve production goals.
• Support the operations manager with general stock integrity and control.
• Enforce the company’s health and safety policies and regulatory compliance.
• Support the operations manager in investigating and implementing opportunities of preventative maintenance and production line efficiencies.
• Actively drive continuous improvement throughout the business.
• Update and comply with 5’s reporting.
• Guide and coach employees, monitoring their productivity
• Ensure quality standards are met to our ISO 9001 2015 certification.
• Helping the company to promote high morales and communicate the companies op-erating policies, customer issues and safety measures.
• Lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Be a business champion for the company’s values and culture.
Skills and Experience Required:
Strong management and leadership skills
Knowledgeable of Health and Safety
Knowledge of continuous improvement
Able to contribute at corporate level to business strategy.
Resilient and adaptable when dealing with challenge and change.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.
Good IT literacy, written and oral communication skills.
Ability to problem solve and make decisions that add value, make improvements and reduce costs.
Job Types: Full Time, Permanent, On-site
Hours: 48 hours per week (between 6am- 6pm)
Pay: Up to £32,500 per annum
