Job Description
Photographers at ASOS are highly creative, organized, and efficient individuals. They work closely with Stylists, Producers, and models to create industry-leading imagery and video content appealing to our 20-something customers. They lead shoots, direct models, manage time effectively to meet targets, and maintain high-quality standards that engage our audience.
The Details
* Report to Senior Photographer and handle all aspects of daily shoot operations, including product page enrichment for 1000+ products daily.
* Shoot products to high standards, primarily through model shoots, occasionally non-model shoots.
* Demonstrate creative skill to elevate shoot quality when needed.
* Provide clear and concise model directions, responsible for poses, mood, and overall feel, in collaboration with Stylists and Producers.
* Ensure products are fully displayed with an aspirational look.
* Deliver shoots on time, meeting targets and creative benchmarks.
* Maintain professionalism and organization in the studio environment.
* Support team processes to meet creative and quality standards.
* Assist in training and developing full-timers and freelancers.
* Have a basic understanding of LED lighting, Capture One, and Canon cameras, applying this knowledge on set.
* Stay updated with industry trends, equipment, and styles to keep ASOS imagery competitive.
* Collaborate on special projects, support model bookings, and maintain studio equipment.
* Continuously develop creative skills aligned with customer preferences and fashion trends.
* Support team resource deployment and participate in training initiatives.
* Build strong relationships within the studio team and contribute to departmental strategy.
* Follow ASOS photography guidelines for consistency and quality.
* Participate in process improvements and team meetings.
* Champion ASOS values and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Qualifications
