We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our 4 composite engineering manufacturing facilities. This is a key leadership role, requiring a proven track record in operations management within the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and optimise all operational processes, including production, planning, logistics, and health & safety.
* Be responsible for the early morning opening of the facility, ensuring full readiness for daily operations.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure delivery against KPIs.
* Manage budgets, resource planning, and cost control to align with company financial goals.
* Lead, motivate, and develop the production and operations teams, ensuring a strong culture of accountability and high performance.
* Collaborate closely with product development, quality, sales, and senior leadership teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry standards, particularly in relation to health, safety, environmental standards and quality.
* Contribute to strategic planning and support scaling operations as the business continues to grow.

Requirements:
* Minimum 5–7 years' experience in operations management within manufacturing environments.
* Demonstrable leadership in managing teams, processes, and change in a fast-paced production setting.
* Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, supply chain, and quality systems.
* Experience of managing operations for a business that has a turnover in excess of £10m.
* Must live locally and be comfortable with early morning starts and unlocking/opening of the facility.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
