Hiring: Systems Analyst / Technical Business Analyst

We’re hiring Systems Analysts / Technical Business Analysts to join one of the most exciting technology transformation environments at Hiscox.
This is not a traditional BA role.
We’re looking for technically-minded analysts who enjoy solving complex business and systems challenges, shaping integration solutions, and working closely with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver real business impact.
You’ll sit within cross-functional Agile teams helping design and deliver scalable technical solutions across enterprise applications, APIs, automation, and integrations.
What you’ll be doing:
* Translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories
* Working across end-to-end solution delivery — from discovery through to deployment
* Supporting API and systems integration initiatives (REST/SOAP)
* Running workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Collaborating closely with developers, architects, testers, and third-party vendors
* Supporting solution validation, defect analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Helping shape scalable, reusable technical solutions across multiple applications and technologies
We’d love to hear from people with experience in:
* Systems Analysis
* Technical Business Analysis
* Enterprise applications & integrations
* API specifications (REST / SOAP)
* Functional & technical documentation
* Data flows and system workflows
* Workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement
Nice to have:
* Insurance or regulated industry experience
This role would suit someone who enjoys sitting between business and technology — someone comfortable discussing integrations, workflows, APIs, and technical solutions while still being highly stakeholder-focused.
