Then look no further - We're currently offering an opportunity for a Female PE Teacher to work Full time for a School in Leeds starting ASAP until Easter.
The School aims to prepare students for future employment and further education by offering a well-rounded education and encouraging important skills like communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Requirements:
1. An enhanced DBS on the updated service
2. PGCE Qualification and QTS.
3. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage and motivate students, collaborate with colleagues, and maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians.
4. Embody a healthy lifestyle and serve as a positive role model for students, inspiring them to adopt an active and balanced approach to physical fitness and well-being.
Responsibilities:
5. Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum aligned with educational standards, promoting physical fitness, motor skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
6. Deliver engaging and dynamic PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, incorporating a variety of instructional strategies, equipment, and technologies to enhance learning experiences.
7. Teach fundamental movement skills, sports techniques, and game strategies, providing guidance and feedback to help students develop their physical abilities and improve their performance.
8. Promote the importance of health, nutrition, and overall well-being, encouraging students to make informed choices and adopt lifelong healthy habits.
9. Create an inclusive and safe learning environment that values diversity, fosters respect, and ensures the physical and emotional well-being of all students during PE classes and extracurricular activities.
10. Collaborate with fellow educators and coaches to organise and supervise sports events, inter-school competitions, and extracurricular activities, providing opportunities for students to showcase their skills and foster a sense of teamwork and sportsmanship.
