Role Overview
This is an exciting fixed‑term opportunity for a Quality Improvement Project Manager who will help deliver pathway improvement for cancer patients in the area. The role involves working with operational and clinical colleagues, using QI tools and techniques to design and implement sustainable change.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with a wide range of operational and clinical colleagues to identify pathway improvement opportunities.
* Develop and agree clear, evidence‑based pathway improvement plans for our cancer services, including Pathway Analysis, MDT streamlining and Best Practice timed pathway implementation.
* Collect, monitor and analyse data to identify, review and prepare a range of options for consideration to support sustainable change.
* Analyse national and regional agreements and guidance, interpreting them in relation to local cancer pathways, and make recommendations to the appropriate Group or Board.
* Plan and organise all relevant elements of improvement projects, reviewing the Trust Improvement Plan and identifying amendments as needed, while analysing data from QI tools.
* Work from Scarborough Hospital with travel between hospital sites and other locations in the area; the Trust provides a pool car facility so your own transport is not required.

Relocation Package
The Trust offers a relocation package of up to 30% of salary, capped at £18,000, to support relocation expenses for positions where relocation is expected.
