Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Restaurant Supervisor to assist in the daily operations of our establishment In Gorseinon. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills while ensuring a high standard of food service and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, enhancing customer experiences, and maintaining operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
* Lead and manage a team of staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork.
* Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing best practices in food safety.
* Train new employees in serving methods, and customer service standards.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a strong team spirit throughout the establishment.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a restaurant role or similar supervisory position within the hospitality industry.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
* Previous experience in food service & barista roles.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
Please note: Although this job is based in Gorseinon the successful candidate may be asked to work a shift at either Waunarlwydd or Llanelli should cover be required.

Pay: From £13.21 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 48 per week
