About the role
The Head of Talent Acquisition is a senior leadership position responsible for developing and executing the talent acquisition strategy both for early careers and experienced hire candidates within Forvis Mazars. This individual will lead a Talent Acquisition function that manages all recruitment and onboarding activities, ensuring the firm attracts, engages, and retains high-calibre talent that aligns with the organisation's STAR 28 strategy and culture.
Reporting to the Head of People, the Head of Talent Acquisition will work closely with business leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver a seamless, high-quality candidate experience. The talent acquisition team cover both early careers (trainees) and experienced hire talent, collectively bringing over 600 talented individuals into the UK-firm annually.
What we are looking for
Proven experience in a senior talent acquisition or recruitment leadership role, ideally within a professional services environment.
Demonstrable expertise in developing and executing talent acquisition strategies across experienced hire and early careers teams.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading high-performing teams.
Experience in designing and implementing an EVP and a strong understanding of employment brand and attraction.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
In-depth understanding of current recruitment trends, tools, and best practices.
Experience of working with and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and an understanding of the broader DEI landscape and how that positively impacts talent acquisition.
Ability to analyse data and leverage insights to drive recruitment decisions.
Strong organisational, project management, and budget management skills.
Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and compliance requirements.
