The role:
* Reports to Warehouse Supervisor
* Ensure “Good Warehousing Practices” by ensuring compliance to EHS & cGMP.
* Ensure training 100% compliant.
* Participate in internal audits and self-inspections to ensure warehouse is GMP compliant and audit ready.
* Act as area support for external audits.
* Ensure any safety exceptions are reported using the Speke Safety reporting system.
* Following appropriate guidelines when working with Dangerous Goods. Identify continuous improvement activities within the warehouse e.g. Cost Savings, Lean initiatives.
* Work collaboratively with external suppliers and logistics providers.
* Ensure Inventory Accuracy is maintained in SAP by Design
* Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained reporting any issues to warehouse supervisor.
* Depending on area working within the warehouse, individual operators’ duties include:
* Sampling of API including Raman testing, raw materials, and packaging.
* Dispensing of API and raw materials.
* Trained in clean room activities.
* Goods Receipt API, raw material, and packaging into Raw Materials Warehouse
* Picking and staging of raw materials.
* Work collaboratively with external suppliers and logistics providers.
* Monitor inbound delivery of API, raw materials, and packaging.
* Discharge of road tankers
* Work with onsite team to ensure timely receipt, sampling, dispensing of API, raw materials, and packaging to ensure smooth production plan.
* Delivering raw materials and packing to production areas
* Complete cycle counting in accordance with yearly cycle count schedule, ensuring any non-conformance is reported appropriately.
* Ensure any destruction of materials is completely accurately and in a timely manner.
* Train out Warehouse SOPs.
Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):
* Qualified forklift truck operator and licence
* Knowledge of SAP by Design
