Pricing & Valuation Analyst – London
This is a great job for someone who has strong working experience within an Asset Pricing function within Asset Management.
A bit about the job:
As a Pricing and Valuation analyst, you will take on the role of ensuring Pricing Data is accurate and valid for all asset types including OTC within the IBoR and ABoR through effective oversight of outsourced partners. You will provide oversight and governance of Aviva Investors outsourced middle office function. Within the role, the successful candidate will be working as part of the Model Validation Working Group who are set up to discuss new valuation methodologies and any new transaction that requires bespoke valuation. Alongside this, you will also be running simulation testing, back testing, and analysis on proposed valuation model methodology changes, whilst ensuring the accurate production of mark to model valuations are produced to the agreed time scales. The role provides the opportunity to work closely with Fund Management on new fund launches, new assets, and any new investment initiatives.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Experience of working within a highly regulated environment
2. Knowledge of Pricing Vendors (Bloomberg, Reuters, MARKIT, IDC, Barclays POINT)
3. Working knowledge of a variety of OTC instruments from a valuation perspective
4. Experience of Private Asset (debt & equity) valuation preferred but not essential.
5. Comfortable discussing complex valuation techniques with Fund Managers / Analysts
