Job Title: Press Brake

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Press Brake Operator on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing team within a supportive and forward-thinking working environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to precise specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate a Safran Daley press brake machinery (e.g. Amada, Bystronic, Trumpf or similar brands).
* Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering blueprints.
* Measure and inspect finished components to ensure they meet required tolerances.
* Carry out basic maintenance and daily machine checks.
* Adjust machine settings as necessary for different materials or bend angles.
* Work to tight production deadlines while maintaining high levels of quality and safety.
* Report any machine faults or quality issues to the relevant supervisor.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
* Previous experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and quality.
* Good understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
* Experience with programming is desirable.
* Knowledge of different metals and materials used in fabrication.

Shifts &; Pay rate:
* Up to £17ph DOE
* Days and afters available dependent on the candidate’s preference
* 6am-2pm Mon-Fri – Days
* 14:00-12:00 Mon-Thurs – Afters
