Job Duties
The District Medicolegal Administrator supervises and/or performs all administrative services for a district office in support of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. This position provides management and support of administrative, procurement, finance, IT and HR, and emergency preparedness functions for the district. Develops, interprets, and applies policies and procedures, and maintains multiple and frequent internal and external contacts to consult with others on matters related to administrative/business management activities and implementing administrative policies and procedures. Serves as a main point of contact and subject matter expert for administrative matters, policy, and strategic planning on behalf of the district office.

Minimum Qualifications
• Considerable experience in and knowledge of the principles and practices of public administration/business management, finance, procurement, contracting, and facilities management
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, local, and agency regulations, policies and procedures
• Experience planning, developing, and directing financial and administrative operations with attention to both long-term and short-term strategic planning and needs
• Experience with personnel management and leadership skills, to effectively lead and manage supervised staff toward positive programmatic outcomes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively and collaboratively work with a wide range of staff and positions
